Further hygiene control is provided by eucalyptus extract, which possesses healing qualities and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and disinfecting properties. It is a good way of preventing bacteria and parasites (red mites, feather mites and lice) from multiplying on birds’ bodies. It also neutralises unpleasant odours.
The white colour of the sand helps the birds to preserve their original colouring. The added pieces of oystershells serve as a source of calcium and other minerals. Ingredients:

• Fine white quartz sand
• Seashells
• Concentrated eucalyptus oil

Instructions for use:

• Spread on the bottom of the birdcage in a 1 cm thick layer.
• Replace 1-2 times a week, when gets soiled.
