The RYOBI Space Saver multi-piece rod is a tribute to the growing trend for compact models that are easy to transport over long distances. While retaining all the characteristics of a two-piece rod, such as slenderness, responsiveness, sensitivity and lightness, the Space Saver also offers ease of transportation. The key to its impressive performance is the use of IM9 high-modulus graphite in the construction of the blanks. This is a rare combination of sensitivity and reliability. Traditionally, K-type rings with SIC insert were used for such high class rods. Elements of the spaced handle are made of high quality cork. The safety of the rod during transportation is ensured by a fabric cover and a rigid plastic tube lined with durable cordura material.
