The Owner Rip'n Minnow is a jerkbait style hard lure designed to mimic small forage species game fish feed upon. The Rip'n Minnow 65, from Owner Hooks, displays a realistic action and appearance that appeals to a wide spectrum of fish species including bass, trout, walleye and more. Upon retrieval the Rip'N Minnow will dive down to 0,9 or 1,2m and exhibit a tight side to side wobble as it swims through the water. While that presentation shouldn't be dismissed, the lure will realize its' full potential when the angler imparts and erratic action upon the lure mixing in twitches, jerks and rips of the rod tip followed by sporadic pauses. When baitfish are confused, sick or in danger they begin to display a similar erratic swimming action — naturally, predatory species, due to their opportunistic nature, will go after the easy meal. The Rip'N Minnow's realistic action and appearance is largely due to the living eyes, rattling weight system and reflective finish.
