Monge Dog VetSolution Diabetic and Obesity Monge VetSolution Canine Diabetic and Obesity is a complete dietetic food for dogs, formulated to reduce excessive body weight and regulate glucose supply (Diabetes mellitus). Contains nucleotides to promote the immune system, Plantago seed to delay gastric emptying and induce satiety, and Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) to support the intestinal microbiota. It is formulated with low energy density and a low level of mono- and disaccharides. Product formulated with a single animal protein source.* *It may contain traces of other protein source. Composition Tuna, potato starch, fish oil (salmon oil 2%), yeasts products (1%, hydrolysed of which free nucleotides 44%), minerals, xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS 0.4%), Plantago seed (0.2%). Carbohydrate source: potato starch. Analytical components Crude protein: 9.5%, Crude fibre: 1.5%, Crude fat: 2%, Crude ash: 1.8%, Moisture: 80%, Starch: 2.2%, Total sugar: 0.1%. Metabolized energy value: 685 kcal/kg (Modified Atwater equation). Additives Nutritional additives: Vitamin A (retinyl acetate) 4,375 IU/kg, Vitamin D3 245 IU/kg, Vitamin E (all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate 3a700i) 29 mg/kg, Zinc (zinc oxide 20 mg/kg): 16 mg/kg. Instructions for use It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Recommended length of time for use: until target body weight is achieved and after if required to maintain target bodyweight. For regulation of glucose supply (Diabetes mellitus): initially up to 6 months. For effective weight loss or ideal weight maintenance, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. Recommended daily feeding intakes (see table) may be split into 2 daily meals. To be served at room temperature. Keep refrigerated after opening and consume within 24 hours.
